Local residents have been finding and reporting wooden objects, carved bone, pottery and worked stone from a peaty layer at the mouth of Loch Paible in North Uist for a number of years. In our first ShoreDIG project, Access Archaeology have teamed up with the SCHARP team and volunteers to rescue information from this puzzling site before it is literally washed away.
